Compliance With Change Order Pricing and Prevailing Wage Provisions
The scope of this project consisted of reviewing a representative sample of all time and material change orders submitted by the Island Companies on the North Shore Long Island Jewish Health System Women’s Hospital. Additional items reviewed include review of payroll records for compliance with prevailing wage rates, and review of all payment records submitted to the state for adequacy of supporting documentation. Results of the review were reported to the applicable state agencies.

Compliance With Change Order Pricing Provisions
The scope of this project consisted of reviewing a representative sample of all time and material change orders submitted by McCourt Construction Co. on all State and Federally funded projects between 2000 and 2010 for compliance with the applicable Contract provisions. Items reviewed included actual payroll rates, related payroll insurance and tax rates, equipment costs, material costs, and subcontractor costs in comparison to amounts billed on each respective project. Supporting documentation was required to validate all submitted costs. Results of the review were reported to FHWA and MA EOT, and amended change order pricing procedures were developed to ensure future change order submissions are in compliance with all applicable contract provisions.
