Contract Description

The project Work includes the demolition of one bridge and the construction of three new steel bridge structures approximately 115 feet, 140 feet, and 225 feet long respectively, including the associated steel pile and drilled shaft foundations. Two reinforced concrete transition structures (boat sections) were also constructed to accommodate 390 feet of roadway and 850 feet of railway. The project also includes 1560 linear feet of rail construction.

Additionally, the project includes temporary support of excavation, removal and disposal of hazardous excavation materials, instrumentation, a storm water pump station, and utility work including drainage, water, telephone, and electric, as well as street lighting, and landscaping.
